The Science in the Public Service - Fun Fair 2008 was held on 14-16 November 2008 at the Victoria Park, Causeway Bay.
The activities included booths, pavilions, display of special vehicles and equipment, workshops, and fun programmes, large and small. The purpose was to let people know, in a light-hearted manner, more about campaign partners’ application of science and technology in providing services, to further enhance the public awareness towards science, and to allow students to learn through fun. Many government departments/bureaus, collaborating organizations and tertiary institutions took part in the event.
Opening hours were 4-6pm on 14 November and 10am-6pm on 15 and 16 November. Free admission.
