Introduction:
As part of the activities under the "Science in the Public Service" Campaign, the symposium is organized in collaboration with the Hong Kong Institution of Science. The purpose of the symposium is to enhance understanding of the achievements and application of science and technology by government departments in the provision of public service. Over 10 senior professionals in the civil service will deliver talks during the one-day symposium. The event is also a platform for professionals and scientists of different disciplines to get together and discuss issues and co-operation areas that may have positive impact on the application of science and technology in Hong Kong.
